Description:
Serial number 106 first year production Model 1877 Colt DA revolver with 3-1/2 inch round barrel chambered in caliber 38 Colt. Features carved Mother of Pearl grips and full nickel plating. Most all the original nickel finish is intact as well as the Colt fire blue on the hammer, trigger and screws. COLT D.A.38 etched panel on the barrel. Fitted in a deluxe compartment-ed case. The corners are brass and there is a name plaque on the top that says " E.W. Freeman Presented by his friends Tuesday Feb. 27,1877". The case is in fine condition. Showing some wear on the inside. The outside is beautiful. This is a nice little 6 shot double action Colt. Comes with a Box of 38 caliber ammo. A real time capsule from 1877! This would be a good one to investigate for some more history on the gun.
