Turn of the Century Import from Belgium to the U.S.
Here we present a C&R A. Greener Double Barrel Side by Side Hammer Shotgun, likely made circa the early to mid-1900s in Liege, Belgium for import to the United States. Several Belgian companies made and imported many shotguns to American hardware stores, mail-order houses such as Sears & Roebuck, and gun shops in the United States between 1893 and 1914. This would have been primarily a sporting firearm designed for hunting or taken out on a Saturday afternoon for a little skeet shooting!
The overall condition is fine. Original blue and case colored finish. The markings and engravings are clear. The actions are excellent. The bores are reflective and smooth. The stock is solid and handsome.
