Description:
For your consideration is the venerable M1 Garand Rifle. This rifle began its service in the second world war in the hand of U.S. forces and quickly gained a reputation for being reliable and providing superior firepower over the bolt action rifles it went up against. The M1 also saw service in Korea and Vietnam as well as various other Cold War conflicts. This particular example features a Springfield armory receiver produced after the second world war made somewhere between 1952-1954 and a barrel produced in August, of 1953. This rifle is also believed to be a Danish return as it has a disc on the pistol grip and serial number on the underside of the stock which are both characteristic of M1 garands that were at one point sent to Denmark. This rifle also comes with a CMP hard case, certification, manual, chamber flag and one enbloc clip. .30-06 Springfield
