Description:
This is a Used Smith & Wesson Pre-Model 10 chambered in .38spl. The serial number places the date of manufacturing in 1948. The barrel is 2 inches long with an excellent shiny bore that has defined rifling. The metal finish has no pitting or rust, but does have scratches, scrapes and surface wear showing its age and use. The wood grips are sound with no major chips or deep scratches but some smaller ones along the bottom edge and around the medallions. The checkering has also been smoothed out in most areas from handling but is still visible. This is an awesome snub nose revolver perfect for personal defense or for filling out your Smith & Wesson collection. .38 S&W Special

Metal Condition: Overall Good with noticeable signs of wear from age and use. No pitting or rust but does have scratches and scrapes and wear on the original bluing.
Wood Condition: Overall Good with some dents/dings along the bottom of the grips and the checkering is smoothed out from handling.
