Description:
This 1886 looks like a Light Rifle but we have no documentation. It has been reconditioned as the metal stands proud of the wood at most joints. The date of manufacture based on the S/N is 1903. It features and half mag., a Lyman peep, and a shotgun plate. The wood is nice looking. .33 WCF

Chambers: Half magazine should hold about 5 cartridges.
Metal Condition: "Good. About half the blue remains, the resrt is trending to brown patina. Metal stand proud of neighboring wood.
Wood Condition: Good. There are a number of handling marks/digs that are not severe. There are chips from the stock at the action and also at the abutt plate.
Bore Condition: A bit dark but good rifling.
Barrels: 24-inch
Triggers: Factory trigger.
Stock Dimensions:
13-1/8 inch LOP.
Fore End: Walnut with tip cap.
Butt Pad: Steel 'shotgun' plate.
Weight: 7 lb - 11 oz
Sights: Gold bead and Lyman peep sight. Original rear sight is removed and dovetail filled.
