Description:
For your consideration, a Rifles Inc. Lightweight Strata chambered in .300 Winchester Magnum. Weighing a scant 6 lbs, this piece lives up to its name. This is a custom rifle built on a Remington 700 action with heavy modification. The receiver, has been lightened, the bolt handle skeletonized, the bolt knob cored, and the barreled action is fitted to a glass bedded kevlar/graphite and boron composite stock. The bolt lugs have been lapped and the bolt face trued for optimal mating with the match grade, ported barrel. The reeiver is topped with a Leupold Vari-X III 2.5x8 scope in Holden Rings. This would make an excellent mountian gun to be packed in for that one payoff shot. .300 Winchester Magnum
