Description:
An Early & Scarce Civil War Colt Percussion Model 1860 Flutted Cylinder Army Revolver In Fine Untouched Condition. Serial # 5,041, all matching numbers including the wedge. Made in early 1861, all original and complete. The scarce revolver has fine metal, markings, and very crisp edges. The "Colt's Patent" markings are very clear on the flutted cylinder and frame. All of the metal on the gun has an even and natural darkening patina throughout it with original blue and case colors showing in protected areas on the barrel, frame, and loading lever. All screws are very fine and show original factory blue on them. The brass trigger guard is excellent and bright. The factory original grips are excellent and full throughout. The revolver has an excellent plus bore and very tight and crisp action. These Colts Were Used By Both The North And The South During The Civil War. This Is A Very High Condition Example Of An Early Colt Percussion Model 1860 Flutted Army Revolver That Has A Wonderful Untouched Look To It. It Would Make A Wonderful Addition To Any Fine Collection!
