An Early Civil War Percussion Colt Model 1849 Pocket Revolver With A Six Inch Barrel In Fine Plus To Excellent Condition. Serial # 146,590, All matching numbers including the wedge. Made in 1858, all original & complete. The revolver has fine plus metal, markings, and edges. It has a full and sharp cylinder scene. The barrel has a two line New York address. The barrel on the gun retains most of its original factory blue with some small spots fading into a plum brown patina. The cylinder has a nice even patina on it. The frame, loading lever & hammer retain most of their original case colors with the frame showing some fading. The backstrap and trigger guard retain most of their original factory silver, All screws are fine with original color on them. The original grips are mint throughout and have a wonderful grain to them. They retain their original factory varnish on them. The bore is fine and the action is tight and crisp. This Is A Fine Plus To Excellent All Original Example Of An Early Percussion Colt Model 1849 Pocket Revolver With A Desirable 6 Inch Barrel On It!
