Description:
SOLD WE Just received on consignment,a as NEW smith model 27-2 in 4" barrel length. This gun was only made for 3 years. Most of the 4" were made in nickel and very few in blue. this gun has NO idiot rings around screws from wrong screw driver, nor a curled top of the side plate from prying it off. it appears NO ONE inside of the gun, which is a chicken lip by itself!!!! This is just a 99+ gun PERIOD. FAINT cylinder line..Gun also has the 3 T's. These are the last of the forged parts also..
The wooden box was stored improperly and destroyed ,but has the original blue un marked shipping box, with most of the paperwork and tools.which is another +++. The wood box can be had off of the internet.This gun would be tough to improve upon.This would be the center of any smith collection.please look at all pics. NOTE : Most of these were made with an un pinned barrel and recessed cylinder, or a un pinned barrel and a recessed cylinder. THIS GUN HAS BOTH !!!!!!!! THIS IS ONE OF THE FIRST ONES MADE...........A SUPER FIND..THIS IS THE ABSOLUTE LAST OF SMITH WESSON QUALITY>>>> any blurrs are from rig grease. THIS ONE WON'T LAST LONG !!
I will throw in a genuine smith wesson anniversary box with this. a little work, new foam, blue fabric.you will have a much better box than the one it came in. better wood, better construction. brass top piece can be had at any trophy shop.
The model 27 is the cadilac of Smith wesson.. has to be worth 250.00 for the box...Please add 45.00 shipping.
