Description:
This is an original antique spear point blade. The handle is stag with brass pins over full tang construction. Includes a primitive bunkhouse made leather sheath with belt loop. The blade shows a natural patina from age, but otherwise in great condition. This blade has given 100 years of service and stands ready to provide a century more. Blade length 6 inches with overall length 10 1/2 inches and weight (oz) 6.4. Knives like this one were traded to the Indian's and were commonly used as weapons of war. The stag scales are attached to the tang with brass pins. It is all topped off by a well cared for set of scales.
