This is a 1st year production, 4-screw Smith and Wesson Centennial flat latch Pre-Model 40 aka "Lemon Squeezer".
The Centennial celebrates S&W’s 100-Year Anniversary (1852-1952).
Gun remains in near new condition, retaining virtually all of the nickel finish with a light cylinder drag line. Fine case colors on trigger. Grips are near mint, but are not numbered. Perfect action. Strong clean bore. Lovely near new early flat latch factory nickel Centennial revolver.

I tell you what: This 71-year old rare 1952 Smith and Wesson Centennial Pre-Model 40 five-shooter is in amazing condition!
The bore looks like new and the action functions perfectly, with a tight lock-up on all 5 cylinders.
Doc Holliday says it's a "peach of a hand" gun and it's new owner will be as proud as a game rooster to add this sparkling S&W to his or her collection!
