This Smith & Wesson Model 15-3 is a double-action, 6-shot revolver chambered in 38 Special. This revolver is mounted with a fixed serrated ramp front sight on a solid rib and there is a square notch micrometer click adjustable rear sight. The frame and cylinder are blued steel, while the hammer and trigger are case hardened. Checkered wooden grips complete the classically styled package. The overall length is 8.7 inches and the weight is 2 pounds.
