Description:
This Ruger Old Army Brass Frame is original and has the "MR-3DB" marking. According to Wilson, page 129, "there were approximately 1200 examples of this model made. This example is also pre-warning. In this case, this pistol was made prior to the warning regarding to please read manual that was printed on the barrel, some time after 1977.Please see pictures for details. A conversation with Ruger customer service told us that this pistol was shipped in early 1973, quite possibly making this a first-year example. We regret that there is no box with this pistol.
The pistol uses a .45 cap and ball. It features a .442" gr. .451". It is suggested to use a .457" ball with #10 cap.
Note: Due to the ability to convert to .45 L.C., ATF requires background checks on this Ruger Old Army. We will be required to ship this pistol FFL 01 or 03.
