AWESOME, FRENCH "UNIQUE" NAZI MARKED, NORWEGIAN POLICE, CAL. .32 ACP, FRENCH . SER#. 102537/6071. IT'S A REALLY A GREAT STORY. WHEN THE NAZI'S INVADED NORWAY THEY BROUGHT 198 "NAZI" MARKED FRENCH UNIQUES TO NORWAY. THEY WERE FOR THE NAZI COLLABORATORS KNOWN AS "QUISLINGS." IT WAS DONE TO FREE UP GRMAN SOLDIERS FOR FRONT LINE DUTY. WHEN THE WAR TURNED AGAINST THE NAZIS THEY RETREATED AND LEFT THE GUNS BEHIND. THE NORWEGIANS RETREIVED THE GUNS AND EVENTUALLY ISSUED THEM TO THE NORWEGIAN POLICE. THE SLIDE HAD A FLAT PANEL GROUND IN THEM AND THE WORD "POLITI, A NORWEGIAN SHIELD AND A SERIAL NUMBER" WERE ADDED. THE SAME SERIAL NUMBER APPEARS ON THE FRAME. THE ORIGINAL FRENCH SERIAL NUMBER IS ON THE RIGHT SIDE AND THE NORWEGIAN SERIAL IS ON THE LEFT SIDE THE FRAME. THE NAZI WAFFENAMT IS ON THE LEFT REAR OF THE FRAME. A PRODUCTION NUMBER 44 IS ON THE INSIDE OF THE FRAME, SLIDE AND BARREL, THE CONDITION OF THIS "RACK QUEEN" IS TRULY AWESOME. IT HAS RETAINED ABOUT 99% OF THE ARSENAL FINISH. THE LITTLE LOSS THERE IS, IS FROM SOME VERY SLIGHT SHARP EDGE SILVERING. ALL PARTS MATCH AND HAVE THE CORRECT "WAFFENAMT" .THE PLASTIC GRIP PANELS ARE PERFECT AND HAVE BEEN PROPERLY STAMPED WITH THE GERMAN "9 SCHUSS". ALL PARTS MATCH.** THE SLIDE RAILS, BOLT FACE AND FEED RAMP SHOW VERY LITTLE IF ANY USE. THE BORE IS QUITE IS PRISTINE. MIRROR BRIGHT WITH RAZOR SHARP RIFLING. NOT A WHISP OFF ROST ANYWHERE.
