Colt 1849 Pocket .31 Cal SN: 223743
Antique single action six-shot percussion revolver chambered for .31 caliber, manufactured 1863.
- Features a blued 4" octagon barrel with "ADDRESS COL SAML COLT NEW-YORK U.S. AMERICA" single line address,
- dovetailed mother-of pearl blade front sight,
- 'v' notched rear sight on the hammer,
- non-fluted cylinder with roll stamped stagecoach holdup scene,
- case hardened loading lever,
- smooth trigger,
- knurled hammer spur,
- brass grip frame and one-piece walnut grip.
Revolver shows a couple traces of it's original finish with the balance of the metal surfaces turned to an aged brown patina.
Action performs well. nipples are good, bore is good+, and the wood grip is very good.
Condition is NRA good to very good.
