Remington model 700 custom 17 Remington. This rifle was built by master gunsmith Tom Wills of Bend Oregon. The attention to detail on this rifle is impeccable. The action is a early 700. The stock is a early improved Remington varminter. Rings and bases are Leupold dual dovetail that are perfectly aligned and lapped. The action is fully blueprinted including squared and radiused and a holland recoil lug installed. Trigger is a shilen DGA set at two lbs. The trigger is perfect, the bolt has the lugs lapped and a holland 44# spring and a titanium firing pin installed. Lock time is very fast and precise. The bolt and shroud were honed for a smooth as glass bolt feel. The barrel is a hand picked and lapped Pachnor #6 contour stainless ultra match. Barrel blank was 600.00. It was then threaded and a target crown was cut. Barrel has a matte finish. This rifle is over the top accurate. 1600.00, 75.00 shipping, ships to FFL only, check, money order or certified funds.
