STEVENS MODEL 520 OR 30 RANGER BY SEARS 12 GAUGE TAKEDOWN PUMP RIOT SHOTGUN, circa 1933-35. Serial Number #u30714. 20” barrel length is factory as no choke marking at breech (only Browning patent stamp- crisply struck) and common knowledge this was a Brownign patent. Also correct ramp style front sight typical of riot models. Original black anodized finish with nice screws. “Ranger” with trooper on horse above still crisp. Locks up tight. Perfect working order. Wood original, untouched(except for some lacquer) with original checkering and original butt plate. Small piece of wood missing at upper tang- does not affect working order as stock integrity perfect. Sears and Montgomery Ward sold these for years in various configurations. Rare riot version. Many of these were purchased by the US War effort for use.
