Description:
29.6 inch round barrel with a pinned blade front sight and Buffington rear sight. Overall metal retains a good amount of thinning blue with some light pitting in areas. Bright bore with good rifling. Crisp action. Breech is marked "US Springfield 1884" Full stock is in good condition with typical handling dings. There are 2 Cartouches, one on the left side and one rear of the bottom tang. US marked buttplate. Steel ramrod. Fitted with a period leather strap that is showing some age.
