Description:
50cal, serial number 76XX. Appears all original except for sights. Rear sight replaced with modern reproduction sight, front sight possibly altered with German silver insert. External metal shows uniform patina with minor pitting. Buttstock retains majority original varnish, crisp cartouche on left pistol grip. Apprears to be "J H". Scratch on left side of stock, not a crack. One minor crack on bottom left side of head, approx 1/2". Forend wood possibly cleaned and finish added. Epoxy around forend screw. Bore is primarily bright with one spot of heavy pitting, mid-forward portion of barrel. More photos on request. Please add $55.00 for shipping and insurance.
