Description:
22 inch round barrel chambered in 50-70 Govt. caliber with a bright shiny excellent bore. Sights include a tall blade front and a carbine style folding rear. Barrel has about 95% thinning blue. Receiver has faded case colors with some strong color inside the trigger guard. Receiver is marked "MODEL 1871" on the left side and "U.S. SPRINGFIELD 1872" on the right. Remington patent markings on the upper tang. Walnut stock has a clear ESA cartouche and has been lightly refinished and looks very good. Carbine style buttplate retains most of the blue and is marked "US". Correct sling ring. A very nice Rolling Block with nice functioning action.
