Description:
12ga, serial number 582XX. 2 5/8" paper case chamber. Mfg date 1889. Correct configuration according to Parkers number book. 32" barrels, fixed choke (cyl/mod). Not sure what original chokes were. Damascus barrels ring good. Retains very little original finish on barrels and receiver. Bores are bright/shiney. Action is slightly off-face. Sighting along barrels looks good, no dents or bulges. Forend wood sound with some oil soaking. Checkering worn off. Buttstock retains no original finish. Heavily worn checkering pattern, chip at toe extends 2" back. Mechanically sound.
