Produced by Star Bonifacio Echeverria, S.A. in Spain between 1972 and 1992. The Star BM were commonly used in Rhodesian Bush War, Libyan Civil War and South African Border War along with Guardia Civil of Spain until it was replaced with the Beretta 92. Its external appearance resembles the classic M1911. 9mm Luger
