Description:
This 1965 vintage right-hand semi-auto shotgun is a Belgium Browning Auto 5 Magnum chambered in 12 Gauge (3" shells). It has a high gloss wood stock, rear of the trigger guard safety, fixed front round brass bead front sight, sling stud on the stock, and a round knob butt stock with a thick Browning ventilated rubber butt pad with white and black spacers. The receiver bluing is in remarkably good condition with only very minimal bluing loss. Barrels show significant wear particularly at the muzzle, but no rust or pitting noticeable. The high gloss wood finish shows some handling marks throughout. This shotgun has 3 barrels total: 30", 28", and 24". Also, extra spring and friction ring. Also comes with Browning soft case and two fabric sleeves (see picture). The Browning Auto 5 Magnum 12 gauge is a variant of the classic Auto 5 designed by John Browning back in 1898. The Browning Auto 5 was the first ever mass-produced semi-automatic shotgun and has seen extensive use by sportsmen nationwide for over a century. It will make a classic field gun or be a fine addition to your collection! 12 Gauge
