Description:
The Mossberg Targo was introduced around 1940 as a small bore target gun. Mossberg provided a barrel mounted target thrower and small clay birds and other accouterments for fun shooting at flying targets. A rifled barrel extension was offered for shooting solid rimfire bullets. The Targo game did not last long and the little shotgun was discontinued in the early 60s. .22 Long Rifle

Metal Condition: "Good, receiver is fading to a plum brown patina, bolt handle shows finish wear as well as the barrel
Wood Condition: "Fair, a crack shows on the right side of the stock beginning just below the ejection port and goes around to the left side just past the safety lever. There are scattered dents and scratches and a gouge on the bottom of the buttstock left side."
