"NSN. Made circa 1850s. 36 caliber with a 7 ½" barrel. This gun has an even dark gray patina. The serial number and patent dates are removed. Small parts have been replaced. This gun was probably a military contract since it has an iron back strap and trigger guard. Grips are good. Action works well.
