SN: S192957. Made around 1959, .44 Magnum with a 4"" barrel. A gorgeous 4-screw model 29 engraved by Master Engraver Alvin White. The gun is profusely inlaid with gold game scenes and scroll. There's a gold plaque inlaid into the grip frame signed ""AA White/Eng"". Has two sets of grips, one is figured smooth walnut targets inlaid with a plaque of gemstones. The other set is ivory magnas with S&W medallions. A similar 6"" gun engraved by Alvin White is pictured on page 220 of the S&W book by Roy Jinks. The gun is in excellent condition. A true Masterpiece by one of the modern Masters. Consignment.
