This is a beautiful Remington 03-A4 sniper rifle from 1943. It has the proper receiver with offset maker mark and serial number to avoid being covered by the scope mounts and the proper barrel as front sights were never added to original 03-A4 snipers. The rifle comes with an excellent M84 scope. The optics are very clear and the reticle is crisp. It doesn't obscure the target or reticle though. The stock is in gorgeous condition but was likely sanded lightly at some point as the 'RA' proof is faint. It also has an SA inspectors mark, and an arsenal re-work marked 'AN' for Anniston Arsenal. The stock has a "p in circle" marking on the wrist and inspectors cartouches on the left side. The 'SA/SHM' stamp is for Steven H. MacGregor, inspector between 1945-1947 for Springfield Armory. Excellent bore. Comes with a canvas sling.
