Description:
This is a rare, all-original F.B. Radom Wz. 29 rifle manufactured for the Polish Army in 1935. Since Poland was invaded by Germany in 1939, and the Polish weapons factories were quickly re-tooled for Nazi use, finding an all-original and matching numbered Wz. 29 rifle is difficult. This example is in about 92-95% overall condition, with the majority of the wear being found on the butt plate. The bolt shows some mild handling and use wear, with areas of light surface patina and finish loss. The receiver is excellent. There is edge wear and light surface patina mixed within the finish on the barrel bands, trigger, trigger guard, and barrel. All numbered parts match, except for one screw in the floorplate, which is stamped "56" instead of "13". There is also a small oval-shaped repair just below the serial number on the stock. The metal disc on the right side of the stock is missing as well. This doesn't affect functionality or fit, but is worth noting (close up shown in photos). The stock is in great overall condition with typical surface dings and bumps from age. There is a small "D2" proof stamp on the right side of the buttstock. The bore is in near-excellent condition: shiny with strong rifling and some traces of patina and use wear within the grooves.
