Description:
This is a WWII British No. 1 Mk. III* Brass Signal Pistol manufactured by W.W. Greener in 1941. This brass signal pistol is in excellent condition with 5 3/4" barrel with almost no signs of use with sharp edges and nice patina. It is marked W.W. Greener Ld 1941 over No.1 MKIII * has a tiny logo ahead of the trigger-guard and a K stamped behind the trigger-guard. It is stamped serial #106 on both the right side of the frame and the barrel but there are no other markings, British or commercial on the pistol. The wooden grips are in excellent original condition with even less than normal bumps and great patina. Has operating lanyard loop. The accompanying British military brown leather holster is maker marked B.H.G. 1942, Broad Arrow over 84 has outstanding heavy leather, tight stitching and great hardware with built in adjustable strap. The finish on the holster speaks of age and mild use. Pistol fits well and is fully protected. Excellent pair for any collection, you will seldom see better.
