Description:
Uberti Model 1873 .45 caliber single action revolver. Barrel length 4 3/4". Bore bright and shinny. with deep sharp rifling. Gun has a good looking frontier flavor with almost no blue overall, but with a smooth finish with no pits. The grips are a well fitted pair of bunk house made jigged bone. The grips and original holster speak of long days on the range, gun range that is. The holster & Belt are a Vintage, El Paso Saddlery rig with a nice patina. A very sturdy rig, ready to provide a century of use. The belt and the holster are both lined. The loops will fit .38-40, .44-40, .45 Caliber rounds. The belt measures 38 inches to the center hole and 45 inches overall.
Barrel marking are completely gone. I have seen this with ranch hand guns that saw daily service. On the other hand the rider that packed this rig may have also packed a running iron.
A rig like this would cost you a pretty penny, not to mention a month or more wait. To get the rig along with the sixgun at this price is a very good bargain.
