Excellent condition Marlin Model 39-A Mountie 22 caliber rifle, shoots short, long and long rifle rimfire ammo, 20" round barrel, full magazine, plain walnut stocks, straight grip, shotgun butt with J C Higgins butt plate and no white line spacer, gold trigger, open rear sight with correct elevator,correct ramped front sight with hood, tight take down with no wobble, serial numbers match on receiver, take down assembly, and upper channel of butt stock. Very little wear and scuffing to the stocks, barrel blue about 90%, mag tube blue about 90%, blued receiver 90%, excellent bore, receiver factory drilled and tapped for various peep sights and scope mounting, older style sling screw eyes installed in fore end cap and butt stock, trademark Marlin Bullseye intact in butt stock, made 1957 per the "P" prefix of the serial number, very nice piece!
