Not often found vintage Texan which is the less commonly found strait stock; most are pistol grip style. This 1960 to 1961(dale code U..was 60 to 61) gun was factory drilled and tapped for scope and is chambered in the very capable 35 Remington known to be significanlty more potent a game getter than either 30 30 or 32 Win Sp.
Condition is exceptional with only minor imperfections (flecks) on receiver and a modest mark or two but not scratch on the American Walnut Stocks. It still has the Marlin Bullsey which are often mission on these older guns.
