A superlative rifle in every respect, serial 153152 wears a 23-inch Douglas barrel (dated 2012, marked 1/12 twist, .655-inch muzzle diameter) fitted by Roger Biesen. Features include an elegant rust blue finish, checkered bolt knob (two bordered teardrops plus a central star), cloverleaf tang, recontoured/checkered bolt release button and Wisner custom bottom metal (steel, inside-the-bow release). WOOD: Signed "R. Biesen & JCT" in the channel (profiled by Biesen and finished/checkered by Tucker) the English walnut has such incredible figure that you can hear the angels gasp each time it emerges from the vault. Appointments include an ebony forend tip, 24 lines-per-inch checkering with interrupted Mullered borders, single crossbolt, scalloped cheek rest with shadow line, checkered steel grip cap, sling swivel studs and a Pachmayr Olde English recoil pad.
