This is a nice earlier Colt AR-15 Sporter SP1, s/n SP 65702. This is a seriously old-school AR for anyone looking for something retro. Colt called these the R6000 model.
.223 Rem. cal., GIO, original Colt tactical configuration without forward bolt assist, 20 in. barrel with 1:12 in. twist, chrome-lined bore, identifiable by the triangular shaped handguards/forearm, no case deflector, A1 sights, parkerized, approx. 6 3/4 lbs. 7 lb trigger pull.
This rifle has all original components with proper Colt marks and MP marks where they should be. Light handling marks overall in the parkerizing and the furniture but no real damage anywhere. The magazine is an aftermarket CH Products magazine. The bore is excellent, bright with strong rifling!
