A. J. Jewson of Halifax Boxlock Game Gun in 20 Gauge. The shotgun has 2 1/2 chambers in 28" dovetailed barrels. Engraved is "A. J. Jewson. Halifax" on the narrow-swamped game rib. Barrel flats are stamped with Birmingham nitro reproofs for 20 gauge at 3 tons. Coin finished boxlock action features non automatic safety & double triggers. Action is line & vine border engraved. Maker's name is on each side. Secondary parts are blued. S# is on trigger guard tang. Buttstock of attractively figured & marbled flesh tone European walnut measures 14" over checkered wood butt. Stock features side panels, point pattern grip checkering, & a vacant gold oval on toeline. 20 Gauge
