Description:
This 1959 double action carbon steel K-frame 6-shot revolver is a Smith & Wesson Model 48 no dash (K-22 Masterpiece Magnum Rimfire) chambered in .22 M.R.F. (.22 WMR). It has a 1/8 inch wide Patridge-type front sight on a raised and grooved full length barrel rib, color case-hardened serrated trigger and hammer, a micro adjustable (for windage and elevation) rear sight, and Magna-style checkered walnut grips with S&W medallions. This revolver has a carefully fitted action, a double latch cylinder, ½" wide grooved and augmented target trigger, and grooved front and back straps. This handgun is in very good condition showing some bluing loss at the muzzle and showing a few very insignificant handling marks throughout on the frame. The grips show only insignificant handling wear. No Box. .22 WMR
