Description:
A very nice mid-production Winchester Model 62A pump 22 Winchester rifle. The serial number on this rifle is 170196 indicating production in 1946. Bore is in excellent condition with strong rifling and no markings in the lands. Wood is in very good conndition with only a small blemish on the top of rthe buttstock near the Butt. Metal has well over 97% bluing and the only blemish is on the left receiver side on the action slide cover (See photo) This rifle has a very smooth, tight action and gun functions properly, pumping easily and ejecting fired brass crisply. A very nice Collectible model 62A that could also serve as an accurate shooting rifle. I have not seen a nicer 62A in many years.
