1894 OCTAGON RIFLE IN .32 WS CALIBER, #206XXX, MADE 1904. An attractive rifle that shows nearly full blue on the receiver that is lightly aged and thinned only, but about complete coverage. The barrel and mag show aged and thinned blue with a trace of very old scattered rust that was wiped off at some point- very minor and you have to look closely to find it. Exc. screw heads, tight action, strong safety half-cock on the hammer and strong springs. Exc. markings, Buckhorn rear sight needs elevator bar only and Rocky Mountain blade front sight. Exc. wood with fine wood to metal fit. Bore is a bit dark with sharp rifling all the way through. Nice 119 year old 1894.
