Description:
The Savage® Axis Bolt-Action Rifle features a durable synthetic stock dipped in Mossy Oak Brush camo, and a matte-black finished carbon-steel barrel and receiver. The grip and fore end of the synthetic stock are heavily textured for a secure grip, and the trigger guard has plenty of room for a gloved trigger finger. A silky-smooth bolt and detachable box magazine provide uncompromised reliability. A 2-position tang safety is easy to reach with the shooter's thumb. Sling swivel studs allow you to carry the rifle with a sling and/or attach a bi-pod to the fore end. A rubber recoil pad enhances comfort while shooting.
