Payment Types Accepted: Money Oder Description: SOLD , RIFLE HAS LEFT THE BUILDING !Here's a true rifle of the old west , a Whitney rifle, 44 caliber , 24" round barrel, nice and tight, pretty to look at as well as shoot. .427 bore, 14 gr. H-2400 , 200 gr. Cast , shoots nice, locks up tight. according to Dale Olson's records book she was Mfg'd Nov-Dec 1884, sn. Q-577, looks original to me , another company Winchester bought up and closed down for fear of something stronger and better. Why not take the real thing to your Cowboy Shoots , I been shoot'n these old cob's all my life much to the dismay of the experts. She's not perfect as most aren't, bores got real deep rifling and shoots well. Looks like some one may have grabbed the barrel with a sweaty paw years ago and was cleaned up but that's all part of a old original rifle. She's antique for sure but I still only ship to your C&R or a FFL of your choice. I Ship priority USPS insured with tracking number to lower 48. Also accept Cashiers check as well as postal money order. If you've any questions please text or call me at 920-590-3400, I'm a Collector downsizing. Enjoy your day.
