#66661, Winchester 308 Winchester Model 88 Pre-64 Lever Rifle Made in 1958, A Totally Original Factory Rifle, 22" barrel, Factory folding rear sight, Factory front sight hood, The receiver drilled and tapped for scope bases with factory plug screws in place, It has total appearance that no scope bases were ever installed on this receiver, Drilled and tapped on the left receiver wall for a peep sight, Standard Model 88 crossbolt safety at that front of the trigger guard, Factory trigger, Factory detachable magazine box, Standard straight comb stock, Standard Pre-64 point pattern checkering, Sling swivels on the stock, Factory steel grip cap, 13 15/16" LOP over the factory bakelite buttplate, 7 lbs. 3 oz., The original barrel blue is 97%, The receiver blue is 96%, The floorplate & lever is at 97%, The original wood finish at 97%, The checkering is 99%, The bore is excellent. This is a very honest original Model 88.
