SN: 92986M. Rare Colt Viper with nickel finish. The Colt Viper was an aluminum-framed, .38 Special D-frame revolver made only in 1977. The limited run has made them one of the hardest ""snake guns"" to find along with the Boa. Most Vipers were blued rather than nickel-plated, making this gun an even more scarce example. The finish is in excellent condition, with only scattered marks and wear on the notoriously delicate plating. The wood is likewise in great shape, with some finish wear on the corners of the halves, but no cracks or large dings. Comes with an official Colt letter indicating it was shipped to Houston in 1977. If you're a Colt collector, you don't want to miss out on this one!
