Shipping is actual cost with a minimum of $30.00 for pistols and $50.00 for rifles/shotguns to ship to most of the 48 contiguous states. Shipping to Alaska may require an extra fee. Description:
The Recce rifle was originally developed by US SEAL Team Armorers with the intention of providing the SEALs with the most versatile AR rifle possible. The word “recce”, pronounced “wreck-ee”, comes from the British military slang term for “reconnaissance”. A recce rifle is designed to have added to it a few accessories while keeping weight fairly low. An example would be adding a small red dot (rather than a scope), a small flashlight, and some back-up sights. You may not even add a forward grip or laser to it as the combined weight with the previous accessories may add too much weight. Care must always be taken to ensure that the weight of the rifle remains fairly low for the purpose of keeping maneuverability high. The Bravo Company Recce-16 MKR-A is designed to be such a rifle. Unmodified, the rifle weighs in at around 6.1 lbs. It features a BCM Gunfighter adjustable stock and pistol grip, as well as a 15-inch BCM Gunfighter KMR Alpha hand guard, which is Keymod compatible. The Recce-16 uses receivers machined from 7075 T6 aluminum forgings. The are given a MIL-Spec Hardcoat anodized finish (per MIL-A-8625F, Type III, Class 2). The barrel is 16.0 inches in length. The BCM bolt carrier group (BCG) is machined from MIL-Spec Carpenter No. 158 steel. The barrel is manufactured using MIL-Spec 11595E steel and has a Manganese Phosphate finish for a high resistance to the elements. Chambered for the 5.56 NATO, the bore is chrome-lined and uses a 1:7” rifling twist to stabilize the wide range of bullet weights available in .223-caliber. These range in weight from the light 55 gr up to the heavy 75 gr types. The Recce-16 is equipped with the BCM Gunfighter PNT Trigger. The charging handle has an extended latch for easier operation in difficult situations. The heavy buffer is part tungsten and part steel. The rifle comes with one 30-round magazine. It is brand new in the box and ready to go.
