Description:
This is a H. Munch Side by Side Double Barrel Hammerless 16 Gauge Shotgun, made circa the turn of the century in Frankfurt, Germany. These German shotguns are known for their quality of workmanship and unprecedented accuracy. This is a very Germanic field piece that is elegant with its intricate engravings, nicely figured and carved stock, there is a few minior defects on the wood stock but given the age of the gun it is in over all great shape. The barrels are 28″ the lop is 14 1/2″ to the front trigger and 131/2 ” to the back trigger,both cylinders seem to be IC and I belive it is chambered in 2 1/2″.
