Description:
An incredible James Woodward and Sons "Best Grade" 12 gauge double gun. Serial numbered at 6215. Produced in 1915, this incredible Woodward is offered along with its original leather case and accessories. Length of barrels is 29" and chambers are 2-1/2". Overall condition is very good and functionable condition is excellent. LOP is 16-1/2". The LOP and butt plate seem to indicate the butt stock may be a replacement. Wood grains are rich and compliment the forend and the gun itself. This is a wonderful example of the Woodward attention to detail...classy tasteful engraving work and meticulous fit and and finish.
