Description:
Beretta S04 Trap 12 gauge. Serial A04849B has 30-inch barrels modified for Teague Precision choke tubes (7x: as marked 2x SK, IC, 1/4, 2x M, IM, 3/4, wrench). Features include a matted vent rib (.385-inch at muzzle, single red bead), 2.75-inch chambers, ejectors, mechanical safety, single (non-select) inertia trigger and a leather-wrapped recoil pad on the attached custom butt stock. DIMENSIONS: Weight is 8.2 pounds. Length-of-pull is 14.3 inches, drops are 1.5 and 2.35 inches, and cast off is approximately .35-inch. ORIGINAL BUTT: Serialed with the Monaco/Montreal medalloon inlaid in the grip, it has approximately the same length-of-pull and drops of approximately 1.0 and 1.4 inches. It also has a right-hand palm swell, some stabalized cracks at the action and scattered impressions. CONDITION: Bores are strong and bright. Barrels have slight movement off face. Ejectors and other mechanics are solid. Barrel finish is at least 95 percent. Action finish is approximately 85 percent with light tarnish and freckling (majority on left lock). Wood is approximately 98 percent. CASE: A leather Nirroli takedown case (felt lined, label) has four compartmented turnscrews, snaps and a key (the lock works). With a piano hinge and doubled corners it remains in excellent condition. The price is firm and layaway is available. Trades for fine sporting rifles (particularly customs, rimfires and dangerous game calibers) and handguns will be respectfully considered.  $6,500 plus shipping.
