Based on an FN Model 98 action with full-length claw extractor, serial 131201 features a 24-inch light sporter barrel (.585-inch muzzle diameter, hooded front sight with matted ramp and brass-beaded blade, adjustable folding rear sight), drilled/tapped receiver, Wisner two-position safety, Timney trigger and a checkered walnut stock (sling swivel studs, added Pachmayr Decelerator recoil pad. DIMENSIONS: Weight is 7.4 pounds and the length-of-pull is 13.75 inches. CONDITION: The bore is strong and bright. Metal and stock finishes are each at least 85 percent. Trigger pull is sharp and mechanics solid. The price is firm. $1,000 plus shipping.
