THIS MODEL 42 FEATURES AND FACTORY ENGRAVING PATTERN. I CAN NOT TELL IF THE ENGRAVING WAS DONE AT THE FACTORY OR AFTER THE MARKET; THE RECORDS NEED TO EXIST, SO THERE IS NO WAY TO KNOW TRULY... WE HAVE THIS BEAUTIFUL GUN PRICED ACCORDINGLY DUE TO THE ENGRAVING MAY NOT BE ORIGINAL. THE ENGRAVING WAS DONE BY SOMEONE HIGHLY SKILLED IN A TRADITIONAL WINCHESTER 42 PATTERN WITH GOLD INLAYS. THIS MODEL 42 HAS A 2.5" CHAMBER AND IS SKEET CHOKED. THE MODEL 42 HAS A GORGEOUS STOCK ON IT AND IS IN VERY TOP CONDITION OVERALL.
