Description:
Custom bench muzzleloader made by Joe Kost of Lancaster OH. Probably 1960's or 70's vintage. 35" stainless barrel. 1 3/4" across flats. Barrel bore looks like new. Has 40 caliber. It is made to shoot 40 caliber bullets with a paper patch. Rifle has set triggers and a false muzzle that you slide 2 patches across to load. Removable false muzzle. Custom bullet starter that slides over false muzzle. The tube scope is marked YS&T and FMT which I found out stands for Youngstown Sheet and Tube Co. and flexible metallic tubing. I would say Kost built the scope. Crosshairs are intact but lens is dirty. scope is 40 1/4" long. Appears to be 10 to 15x by looking through it. Needs taken apart and cleaned. Bullet mold and some bullets included. 16" LOP
