Description:
***SOLD***Model: Type 14 Nambu
Finish: Blue with straw safety and trigger.
Caliber: 8x22mm Nambu
Action: Semi-automatic
Barrel length: 4.7"
Bore: Excellent shiny bore with sharp rifling. Clean bolt face.
Grips: Grooved wood grips
Sights: Fixed
MFG Date: Sho-wa 9.1, December 1934.
Features: Fully matching receiver, bolt, trigger, and magazine. Produced by Nambu Ju Seizosho (Nambu Rifle Manufacturing Company), a private manufacturer supervised by Nagoya in Kokubunji, Tokyo. The Type 14 features a sharply angled pistol grip, a recoil operated bolt inside of a fixed barrel extension, a knurled bolt handle, and dovetail front sight with a crisp rear fixed sight notched in the receiver.
Markings: Markings on left side of receiver read "Type 14." On the right side of the receiver besides the serial number are the Nagoya Arsenal and Nambu Ju Seizosho (Nambu Rifle Manufacturing Company) stamps, which are uncommonly seen stacked vertically rather than horizontally. Beneath these markings is the date of manufacture, Showa 9.1, and a very small Tokyo inspection mark to the lower left of it.
Extras: VERY NICE clamshell style holster that appears to read "Chief Sergeant Muraki" and "3," indicating manufacture in 1928. Cleaning rod included. 20 rounds of original 8x22mm Nambu ammo.
Condition: UNBELIEVABLE condition pistol and holster. The finish is in exceptional condition with typical scratches created by rotation of the safety, and some very minimal wear on sharp edges. The wood grips have very few scratches, which are commonly seen with military service firearms from this era.
Shipping Cost: $75.00. Ammo shipped separately via UPS. Pistol shipped USPS.
Please refer to the photos for the overall condition. FFL is required. ***SOLD***
